Jeff Balsam is a veteran banker, with 35 years experience developing new business opportunities for Israeli banks and their clients.
As CEO of Adesco Bridge Ltd., Jeff represents corporate clients and high net worth individuals in their borrowing activities from commercial banks in Israel, focusing on corporate finance and real estate finance, and offering exceptional savings in currency exchange.
Jeff’s banking career began in 1978 at Bank Leumi in New York, and later, in 1983, he transferred to Bank Leumi Headquarters in Tel Aviv. Jeff joined Mizrahi Bank in 1988 where he served for 17 more years in various capacities. Most of Jeff’s positions at the 2 banks involved establishment of new activities or reorganization of existing operations, and spanned many areas of banking activity including private banking, commercial banking, agriculture finance, real estate finance, securities trading, nostro investments, regulatory compliance and retail banking. His activities involved operations in Israel and many countries around the globe.
Jeff established Adesco Bridge to leverage his wide scope of experience to the benefit of clients in their relationships with banks in Israel. He has led M&A transactions, arranged corporate finance, and negotiated financing for real estate acquisitions and construction loans.
Jeff personally leads negotiations with the banks, and has a successful track record of conflict resolutions. His familiarity with policies, procedures and corporate culture of each bank enables Jeff to identify the precise source of stress and navigate to a beneficial solution.
Jeff Balsam is also a Director of Dun & Bradstreet (Israel) Ltd. and related entities, a Founding Chairman of Lechu Neranena Charity Fund and Free Loan Fund, and a Founding Director of Kids Kicking Cancer (Israel).
